Step 1: Loading Photos and Video by Clicking the ‘Import’ Button

Click the Import button to add video/photo files to the program. Added video and photo slideshows will be displayed as thumbnails on the left side of the screen. Now you can merge DVD chapters into one file and preview videos and photos on the right. Video volume adjustment is also available. In addition you can freely add, delete and organize DVD titles.

Tip: The green area at the bottom shows the file size of the added photos and videos. At the bottom, you can choose DVD5 or DVD9 format to output your project and select from Fit, Standard or High output quality.

Step 2: Editing Videos and Photo Slideshow

Click the Edit button beside each video or photo slideshow or right click one clip and choose ‘Edit’ to open the editing window.

2-1: Video editing: In the video editing window, you can rotate, crop, trim videos as you like. Some video adjusting parameters and special video effects are provided for enhancing your videos. Besides, you can add image or text watermarks to your videos freely. When you are editing your videos, you can real-time-preview them in the viewing window.

2-2: Photo slideshow editing: In the photo slideshow editing window, you are allowed to delete and set photo order to your wish. Adding text, background music, applying transition effects and setting photo and transition duration are available. For text, you can set the font, size, color and style. For background music, you can choose your favorite song and set audio volume, trim music and set fade in/fade out effect.

Step 3: Select a DVD menu template and customize it

40 free static and dynamic DVD menu templates are offered for your DVD authoring. Menu structure is showed in the right for better DVD menu customization. Aspect ratio can be set as 16:9 and 4:3. In the Menu page, you can freely add text and change the frame and button of the menu.

For further customization, hit ‘Customize’ to set the menu background, background music and thumbnails.

Step 4: Preview your DVD project

Go to the ‘Preview’ tab to preview your DVD project as if you are watching it on TV to make sure that all the effects go as you like.

Step 5: Burn videos and photos to DVD

When you are satisfied with your work, go to ‘Burn’. You can burn disks or save ISO image file and create DVD folder. Choose the TV standard: NTSC or PAL in Option.
